Sarah James

Student Therapist

Life can present many challenges, including difficult emotions like anger and struggles in relationships, which can often feel overwhelming and isolating. If you feel misunderstood or hesitant to seek support, remember you’re not alone. I aim to provide a safe and compassionate space where you can be heard and understood as we work together toward meaningful, lasting change.

I take a person-centred and culturally responsive approach, drawing from techniques in cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and evidence-based interventions. It’s important that every individual feels empowered and supported throughout their journey.

In our time together, I strive to create an inclusive environment where you can explore your feelings, develop healthier behaviours, and improve your relationships. By nurturing authentic connections and emphasizing practical skills alongside emotional growth, I believe we can unlock your potential for transformation.
